The italian hamlets of the ancient La Brigue :  Carnino, Upega, Verdeggia,  Realdo, Piaggia.

La Brigue is in the french department of Alpes-Maritimes (06). Up to 1947 La Brigue spread on the both side of the Alpes. People were shepherds and they used to spend the summer on the mountain range. Upega, Carnino, Piaggia (Briga Alta, Piemont) and Realdo  (Triora, Ligurie). Many Brigasques settlent in Verdeggia but Verdeggia did not belong to the ancient La Brigue.
Viozene is close to the ancient territory of La Brigue but belongs to Ormea.
